This is the last post that I am going to put on my blog. This is about my POL. OK to tell you the truth I was not prepared to do my POL I was too afraid even when I practice I felt like I did not know what I was going to talk about. At the beginning of this I thought that it was going to be easy because all we had to do is take people on a virtual tour around the school and give brief info on the specific topic. But then Mrs. Ruff is teacher said that we had to right a reflection of the 20 percent time project. And present it at the end of my partner and I project. When the big day came I was nervous I was about to throw up my parent, my partner parents were here, and everyone else that we invited was here. And when we took them on the virtual tour we only took them to the plaques that my partner and I made not the other ones. When I presented my reflection I felt that I said like a lot, and I felt like I did carry myself as well and did not answer the questions as well as I should.Overall I thought my POL could have been better. That’s why my next POL is going to be great. what i learned during this project is
time management. how to be a better student which is not slacking off and hanging out in the hall ways. and when
i am in class not sit around not doing any thing . what i also learned is to speak with confidence i mean you can be nervous but just be confident in what you are saying and your self because that is one of the keys to succeed.

Our projects not done we have a long way to go we have to make sure that these plaques are finalized and make sure that the corrections are complete I am sure we are going to get this done.

Finally Finished



The picture to the left is what our final plaques are going to look like. As you can see we have a title and a description of what it is. Then at the bottom there are two tags. One that will send you to a video and another that will send you to some literature. This project is over with and as of today I believe our project has been finished. I know that we got a lot done today but as of one of the group members said, We should be finished in 2 seconds. So I have faith in this group member as hopefully she will turn in the last piece to this project and it will be finished. After I finished my Presentation of Learning I felt that I actually learned a lot more than I thought I did. This project was really helpful and it taught me a life lesson. Which was to do what I need to do before I do what I want to do. So pretty much what that means is to get my work done and finished then start to do what I would like to do. I felt that I did really well on my PoL and I reflected honestly and I spoke my mind to the fullest. So I would like to thank my teachers for letting me do this project and I would like to that my partner Zeke for helping through this process but last but not least I would like to thank my mentor Patrick Hayman for being there for my partner and I. Thank you all. By the way this is going to be my last blog post.

Wrapping It all UP

This week Me and Zeke are trying to get all tags working/created. We also are trying to get some other people in the group learning how to make some tag just because we need some help. Because there is a lot to do and a little of people. We need to start finding literature tags because we can't just have media, we need to have something they can read off of. Once this task is completed we need to start putting up frames and the actual thing that goes into the frames. Then we will be finished :)

This week I and my partner was helping are peers making the Microsoft tags and it has been a struggle because the literature part of the tags did not work because it took us only to the High Tech High website. But one of the final draft is finished and printed in color and has been edited by Mrs. Ruff. But the other ones need a lot of work but I think that it is going OK were are going to get them done and everything is going to be fine. I think that this is going be the bes tour. and are POL is coming up so i'm ready to host this tour as well

Me and my partner Zeke are helping peer critique paragraphs that are going to be put onto the plaques. We are also trying to get the tags to work for the iPhone. We also need to find literature so that we can hook the tag to it because not all people would want to watch a movie. After this we have to have a paper copy of our whole tour so that as a group we can do a walk through. After the walk-through the next day we can have our teachers go on the tour and give us feedback. So by Friday we need to have everything finished.

This week me and my partner wrote three paragraphs on specific topics about high tech high. my was PBL Project Based learning and talk about what project based learning is and how we use it at high tech high. my partner did are robotics team the holy cows. The last paragraph we did together is about the sever room which lets us access all of the computer and laptops at high tech high.

We also help are peer Alex with the tags and by going on Google look up QR Generator and put are website link URL in place then it will give us the tag for it this is what we have so far
